Clive Buxton -  Many thanks the burner insert I ordered arrived next day and I changed it the following weekend.The burner insert I removed had some carbon build up around the air bores and the pilot flame exit bore.After reference to the workshop manual you sent me the job was very staight forward.After changing the burner insert the heater fired up instantly and has been doing since. Thanks again Stuart for excellant service and back up.

And although the problem was not solved by him it did not put him off trying.
One thing to add is that he had never seen a hydronic 10 and it was done remotely as I was mostly abroad. Thanks again Stuart and if any one has a problem then I know that you will get it fixed
